I've seen many here play down th power of Ron Lyle based on KO percentage and opposition but here is George Foreman, direct and at length, describing in detail the hardest he was ever hit as an amateur or a pro .. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nDBBWbAXc6o
I've heard Foreman, at varying times, list 5 or 6 different people who hit him the "hardest". You can't pay much attention to what Foreman says.
Like when he told me Tommy Morrison hit him harder than anyone in his career? Or when he said Alex Stewart did the same thing?
Exactly what I am saying. And yes, I am sure Lyle hit plenty hard. He sure showed a lot of heart and had a great story. He was a hungry fighter which are almost the best fighters.
