George Foreman Versus Alexander Povetkin

I don't know that D'Amato was considering the likelihood of a steroid-fuelled puncher who's roughly the same size as Foreman.

 

Of course Chisora would win. A 240-50 pound man who keeps the pressure on and can fight forever against a 217 pound man who gets weaker each round?

Watch older Chisora fight a bigger, more durable guy than GF who actually can do rounds. ATG/HOF don't win fights when your whole fight is built on being bigger and stronger and suddenly you are not, and you lack stamina too.

Then again, even Ibeabuchi ticks those boxes, and the idea of treating Ibeabuchi as a lil' swarmer walking into the jaws of death against a 217 pound Foreman is a bit of a stretch.

Please show me that quote from a reputable source. I've NEVER heard the word "swarmer" used in any boxing gym, and I doubt the word was in use when D'Amato was alive. The quote was probably fabricated by some message board poster.

 

Takam got dominated by 223lb Gregory Tony. Foreman was bigger than that against Scott Ledoux, Scott Ledoux was actually about as big as Tony. Povetkin got beat up by basic 209lb Huck. These nonesense opinions ignore reality and diminishing returns.

Wlad is way bigger then Foreman. Young Foreman and Povetkin would be around the same size Povetkin might even be bigger tbh
