Wilder is hot garbage. He has zero boxing skill. However his straight right is lethal. But any boxer with skill should be able to take that away from him. His jab is garbage, his left hook too. His body punching, footwork, defense, all garbage. He was very carefully managed to reach the level he did.
He would have a shot against the slugger types if he could bang them in the face early on with that right hand. Foreman, Lyle, Shavers, those type of guys he has a punchers chance against early on. But he loses, if he doesn’t land big early. There are simply too many holes in his game all around to last against quality punchers. Fighters that move and think would smoke him, Ali, Quarry, even Frazier with his Bob and weave pressure would make Wilder hesitant to throw as he struggles badly with movement. He lost multiple rounds to B and C level fighters that are not offensive threats such as Gerald Washington, Szpilka, Ancient Ortiz, just by them giving him movement and different looks. Even with length and reach Wilder took rounds and lost most of them to finally get them out.
It’s difficult to fully form an opinion on Fury based on his success against this type of fighter.
Fury performed great against old Wlad. He fought a spoiler fight and showed tremendous stamina. When properly motivated Fury brings to the table, a smart adaptable fighter with great heart and massive size. Good speed for a man his size and above average skills. Incredible stamina.
Honestly I think Fury at his best does pose issues for George. Let’s see what happens at end of month against Whyte. As someone posted above remove Wilder from his resume and it’s Old Wlad, and not much else. He did handle Chisora with ease but his resume is light. Pianeta? Seferi? Schwartz? And how much do we really know about Wallin?

Foreman vs Fury could go either way.

    Foreman would smash Wilder.

    Wilder is grossly overrated.

Pre layoff Fury from the Klitschko fight and Chisora rematch beats Foreman.

Current Fury ? No, he gets knocked out.

Fury easy win... really don't know why people say george he never shown he could beat jim and ali who were less skilled then fury why would he beat fury then? George not only fought stupid but was way to easy to outbox

Foreman would HAVE to score the early knockout to win. He has no other choice and no other pathway to victory barring something like a bad cut or freak injury to Fury. This is going to be very hard for George to achieve. Fury had a solid chin and a colossal size advantage with a pretty good outside fight game and stamina to boot. I don’t think I’d bet money on foreman

Foreman by TKO. He’s a better tactician and finisher then the over hyped Wilder. If Wilders skill less self could reach Tyson better believe George would walk him down and put a hurting on him. Fury doesn’t have Ali’s chin.

To be clear, you’ve just stated that Jimmy Young and Muhammad Ali were LESS skilled than Fury. That is what you meant, correct? A simple yes or no answer will suffice.

No it's not. Foreman only has a puncher's chance.

Foreman couldn't even catch Young or Ali, let alone Fury.

Wilder hits harder than Foreman and is faster, yet he could not beat Fury, so that means Foreman stands no chance either.

you will now be banished back to the General Forum! Begone!

It is inconceivable that someone believes this to be true.

Could you see an older Foreman luring Fury into exchanges?

sorry to spam you White. I'm just asking questions not trying to argue or anything, would you factor in Foreman's accuracy to work in favor of him? I think I agree Wilder's right hand is probably harder than any punch Foreman can throw, but Foreman can land much more consistently than Wilder. The only issue is finding his range against Fury who no doubt will out jab Big George.
