1973 George Foreman vs. 2003 Vitali Klitschko. What do you think?

    That`s a really tough one.
However, I think Foreman probably wouldn`t knock VK out and Klitschko can win on points.

Bad style matchup for Vitali. Foreman’s uppercuts and short hooks would spell disaster for Vitali.

Vitali, superior boxer with the chin to hold up. This combination really bothered foreman.

I didn't want to affect you, but I see it exactly like that. Vitali is a well rounded boxer + he has the reach, the jab and this laser right hand counter punch in his arsenal. Furthermore i don't see George pushing a man around the ring with ease, which is 3" taller and 20 pounds heavier. But for sure he has the puncher's chance!

George Foreman of 1973 was a menacing character in the mold of his boyhood hero Charles Sonny Liston. He had the similar stare at ring center, during the referees instructions. He was a totally mean intimidating guy, unlike the bald, flabby, church attending man that smiled on television commercials, selling grills of the 1990's.Vitali Klitchko was a tall hard punching fighter with good boxing skills, who was last seen rocking then champion Lennox Lewis on HBO, before being stopped by a pretty good sized gash. George may not be the taller man this time but as the old saying goes, The Bigger They Are, The Harder They Fall, which is the title to a 1956 boxing motion picture. Foreman did not fight cautiously like the nice 1990's version, he came out imposing his will right away like the fearsome bully in junior high school that was going to break your nose for looking at his girl. He would test Klitchko early, then back off to see what his adversary had for him. George had a better corner, Archie Moore and D. Sadler. He would be instructed to cut off the ring on Vitali, much the same way he did in round 1 against Muhammad Ali in 1974. He would force heated exchanges, and as Liston said after sparring with George, He Can Sure Hit. Foreman tags Klitchko with a hard right in round 2, which staggers him, then George unleashes the barrage of blows which resembles a wild out of control twister. Vitali has only one place to go, and that is down. He gets up and is shoved by a shoulder, then tries to escape, but cannot. The referee ends it in round 2.

I think Foreman would break Vitalis warrior will early- But i cant say if this works in his favor fighting to survive to the bell has its own advantage.

After watching Sanders-Vitali, i would pick Foreman. But Vitali has a chance if he can survive the first 6 rounds.

Yet the two best fighters he met beat him......quit against Byrd and got carved up like a fillet mignon by a old Lewis with one foot out the door.

VK's lean back defense with his hands hanging by the waist will make him open target practice for Foreman who like Lewis will rip his face off.

Well Foreman got knocked out by an Ali that was well past it and was embarrassed by Jimmy Young. Also Vitali was winning both of those fights and got stopped by a cut and an injury. Did I mention that he was winning both fights.

Honestly it could go either way. Vitali has a cast iron chin. Corrie Sanders blasted out Wlad and Wlad himself said Corrie Sanders was very powerful and that he's never fought anybody else that punched like Sanders.

But Vitali took a lot of Sanders attacks and dodged some too he also ate Lewis's as well. Keep in mind Sanders is like 4 times faster than Foreman. Foreman may stop him but if Foreman can't stop him by the mid rounds and starts gassing, it's over

I can see it either way but when it comes right down to it, Foreman is just the more proven guy.
