Despite being stopped in only the fourth round, Jon “ Dino “ Denis boxed somewhat well. Landed some good shots and made foreman work for the win. It’s a short reel but entertaining.

 Every time I watch Foreman pummel a dude like that I start going "ouch...ouch...owieoiwe, ouch" and cringing on their behalf as I grin. I'm sure the hurt was actually worse the next day, but damn, Goerge could really put it on ya'. Thanks for posting. Will go see if I can search the whole thing up on the web somewhere.

came right up. in case anybody's interested

Him and Joe Roman decided right before it started, for the ref instructions, to go "BLEP!" at Foreman to see if he flinched. Smart guys. Tacticians.

Foreman's fights with Gil Clancy in his corner are entertaining in a way that he tried to pace himself and box (partially due to alterations in his style, partially because of the new, more rounded persona he and his handlers tried to present to the world.)

Good example on how to rebuild with new trainer. It obviously ended with the Young catastrophe, but I reckon there was a lot going on there that lead to the result.

Jerry Quarry was such a sharp articulate guy as a commentator. Tragic what boxing did to him. Dino Dennis showed Chuvalo, Ron Stander level toughness in this one. Hate referees who are as casual about other people's welfare as this guy was though.

Agreed .. I enjoy that period too as he shows some improvement , especially how he kept his head in the Frazier rematch and really did a number ... the Young fight, as much as anything was stupid matchmaking ... putting him in with such a tricky guy in a location that lends itself to a sauna was simply stupid match making ..

A brave effort by Denis with Big George giving his usual impression of a Sherman tank.
