George Foreman of November 5 1994 who beat Michael Moorer vs. George Foreman of Januray 22 1973 who beat Joe Frazier?
1973 Foreman is 217½ lbs and 1994 is 250 lbs.
The younger version of Foreman is a more active and a harder puncher than the older version who could also hit pretty hard as well. The older version had a better defense than the younger Foreman. The older Foreman was also better at paceing himself.
Dose the younger Foreman have enough fire power to stop the older Foreman?
Can the older Foreman efectivly use the peek-a-boo defense to defuse the power of the younger Foreman?
Can the older Foreman take advantage of the younger Foreman's lack of a good defense?
Can the older Foreman take the younger Foreman's best shots?
Can the Younger Foreman take the older Foreman's best shots?
    Who wins and how?

Young Foreman by KO. Older Foreman took a good shot but he fought few actual punchers and when he did (Morrison, Briggs) they either elected to jab and move or were intimidated, 90s Foreman is over rated simply because he landed that 1-2 on chinny Moorer.

I'd pick the young Foreman to brutally beat down the older one.

Young George by a mile. Old George was fighting a guy who came from LHW, southpaw and a completely different caliber and style of fighter. Moorer never became anything great compared to what Foreman did for his career in the 70's.

Moorer was cruising to victory until the killer combo.

Young George by a million miles.

George picked the older version of himself and I think that was a good pick. Young Foreman would swing for the fences and punch himself out like he did against ali and almost did against lyle. Big George did in fact face some big punchers in his comback run and never took a step backward. His chin did seem to get better with age he could wait all 12 rds to land deadly counterpunches. Young George was very vulnerable to anyone who could take his punch and give it back too. Plus he would be giving up a size advantage for the first time in his career.

i agree. young foreman looked like he had major stamina issues at times. and old george was massive with an iron chin. i reckon that weight disparity will take its toll on the younger but smaller foreman. that bumping and leaning takes its toll on anyone.

basically, i dont think young foreman was a smart fighter. he didn't know how to pace himself and think in the ring. He just outmuscled his smaller opponents. He didn't have a plan B. he was much smarter in older age and would "trap" young george just like he did to moorer.

    Friendly George ko12 Angry George

Old George never fought anyone comparible or as dangerous as young George. No brainer.

Old George couldn't win this type of fight.

Old George got a title shot purley off the back of young Georges name. Old George couldn't earn one himself. He manged to get beat by Morrison - and beat no-one significant. Old George was also losing that title shot easily till he caught Moorer.

    Young George all day long.

Throw in free brake pads too!

I'd take young Foreman by a UD. Nobody will be knocked out here in my opinion, with Young Foreman building an unbreakable lead over the low workrate of Old Foreman.
