I hate to say it but I firmly believe George Foreman fought the dumbest fight in Boxing history in Rumble of the Jungle. How could any champion be that stupid? It was so clear to EVERYONE in the arena what Ali was doing and foreman just kept wailing away to no avail tiring himself out...I mean what was foreman thinking? No Brains
You are right though, there is a reason that the "rope a dope" only ever worked against one boxer in the entire history of boxing.
he would take it for the money, and lose. He would try, but c'mon, this thread is obvious joke. A bad joke.
They square up in the middle of the ring the crowd starts wondering "Wtf is going on?" The fight starts Foreman bulldozes forward throwing long jabs and looping rights missing hopelessly, while Greb ducks and weaves effortlessly. Greb catches Foreman with a right cross the force of the blow paralysing his larger foe. Greb throws a powerful jab from his waist which topples Forman out of the ring and on top of the fight doctor. A doctor who was present in the crowd rushes to the two men and pronounces them both dead at the scene. Greb KO1 Foreman and Fight Doctor. El Fin.
What? If we have the technology to create this match up, then clearly Greb will be a 230lber, who at that weight can fly, bend steel, run faster than a speeding train, and burn Foreman with his X-ray vision. Greb will literally blow him over inside 11 seconds, including the count. Look at the films of him in action, if you do not believe it.
