    Dempsey is better than Morrison.

    Dempsey by decision.

I cannot see Jack Dempsey beating the GF that KO'd Frazier. The few fights I have seen of JD, he swings like a barn door. Willard was no George Foreman, and George would have walked through him.
    Just my opinion.

Makes sense, why don't people use this kind of logic more often

A "barn door" Aye ? Dempsey's one-two was as eye blurring and lethal a combination as any heavyweight in history if one is disposed to be open minded and thoughtful...Look at the lethal one-two that flattened the brutish Luis Angel Firpo in the second round...And watch the rusty edition of the 32 year old Dempsey
who finally catches up to the fleet Gene Tunney in the 7th round and delivers a 6-7 punch beautifully timed and well placed combination on Tunney's chin that put Tunney in LaLa land for the famous long count... "a barn door puncher", Oh My...:patsch

Dempsey swings like a barn door? I think you've got them mixed up.

A lot depends on what tactics Dempsey uses.

If he circles and sets up his shots, like he did against Willard, he has a chance.

If he gets stuck in like he did against Firpo, then he probably comes unstuck.

Lewis was " better " than Rahman, didn't stop him getting KO'd in their first fight did it?

Foreman KO 2. Dempsey is not going to move around and pick him off, or lay on the ropes hoping George punches himself out. The assumption by the Dempsey fans is Foreman can't take a shot from Dempsey before he lands his own clubbing sh it. That assumption is wrong.
