    I do agree that Max Baer hit very hard, but Max with better stamina and better boxing technique took it into the later rounds on June 13 1935. despite losing to James Braddock,and his title, in Madison Square Garden. Prime George Foreman had no technique, just very wide punches, but more powerful than Max, look what happened to Joe Frazier, twice and to Ken Norton. Unless you were a Muhammad Ali or Jimmy Young and could take those explosive blows, making Foreman go into the later rounds, the chances for survival were very slim, if you could not make him do so. That would be sapping George of his power. I do not know how Braddock could keep George off of him. Good Post though.
