George Foreman vs Jimmy Thunder in 1997

It's a little known fact that Thunder was Norswedish or one of those and his last name was actually pronounced "Toon-Derr."

 

His name was pronounced: Jim-mee

 

In fairness though, that was Morrison's greatest ever performance in as much as he actually used his brain to figure out a path to victory. Had Tommy gone in and decided to trade with George, like he did with everyone else, he would have been killed. And he knew it.

Does Thunder have the smarts to stay out of Foreman's way? To jab and move, get in and get out? I don't really think he does. I also think that whilst Thunder had some serious power, he didn't have Morrison's power and I don't know that George would have respected him. Thunder IIRC was an action guy. George I think would have caught him at some point and Jimmy wasn't exactly known for his durability. I see it going a bit the same way as when Foreman beat Cooney.

Thunder wasn't even the guys' real name. It was a professional name he gave himself when he started boxing.

He's Samoan.
