Take away their 2 bouts, who ends up with the better resume between those two?

Why take away George's best win, and one of the most dominating wins in the history of the sport?

It was impressive, no doubt about it, but I thought it would be fair to compare how they did for the rest of their careers, considering George was a huge mismatch for Joe + he looked completely out of shape, at least the first time.

Frazier. It doesn't take alot of thought to come to that conclusion either.

What about if you only leave their ethnically Irish opponents on the resume? Whose is better?

Don't be ridiculous BE. The only true measurement of heavyweight greatness is how well you do against opponents with alliterative names. So Ali counts (as Cassius Clay), Michael Moorer, etc.

If we're going to pretend Frazier doesn't fight Foreman, then I get to pretend that Old Foreman has a KO victory over Tyson

If they'd split their two fights, then you could remove them from discussion, but it's kind of impossible to to compare resumes without giving George his greatest win.

True. Frazier holds that win over Ali in the FOTC. Easy question to answer.
