I don't know a lot about the 90's heavyweight scene, but who Foreman beat to improve his resume? I know Qawi was 30 lbs heavier than in his previous bout, and Moorer didn't have that much experience as a heavyweight either.

    Bizarre.

Frazier has the better resume in this scenario obviously.

I understand what the TS is asking. Head to head, Foreman was obviously better than Frazier. Taking away when they met head to head, who has the better resume.

For me Frazier has this. The Ali win is the defining point.

No. Moorer was a good fighter who had taken himself as far as he could as a heavyweight by the time he met Foreman. George did very well to land that fight when he did because almost all of the rated heavyweights at that time (and foreman was not one of them!) would have beat Moorer if given the chance. Moorer had already had absorbing wars with fringe men stewart, cooper and got past a very poor evander to become champ. with hindsight moorer was already an accident waiting to happen. Bruno, lewis, bowe, mercer, mccall and morrison were all ahead of george when he got that gift shot at moorer. Each were a tougher fight for old man Foreman than Moorer was at that time.

    who has the better resume?

when Frazier set out as a boxer the men who had to be beaten to become a great were ali, quarry, ellis, bonavena, chuvalo. Frazier did not slip up, he cleaned up! Joe had his own era 67-71.

When foreman set out he had frazier, ali and norton to take out. Two out of three is not bad but he had youth on his side and slipped up. Foreman was not beaten by age. He was beaten by experience. That is forgivable but George then struggled with lyle then lost to Young.

Frazier has the better resume. He could have called it a career after Ali because he had beaten everyone. foreman could not have called it a career after Frazier or Norton because he had only just begun to fight elite fighters and was still a kid..

This pair between them, might just have the three greatest wins in the history of the heavyweight division!

Ranking them against each other is hard.

Frazier’s resume is all solid, with the win over Ali making it incredible.

Foreman’s resume is a sea of mediocrity, but he has arguably got the two best wins in heavyweight history 20 years apart!!!!!!

I think even the record shows that there were not any more big wins left for Moorer after the holyfeild win.

I think most people who were around would not fancy Moorer against Lewis, bowe, Mccall, Bruno or Mercer. There is nothing on Moorer's resume after the Foreman win that says he would have either. disputed wins over schulzs and Bean?

Holyfeild gave moorer a beating in their rematch.

Both beat chuvalo, but who did the better job?
fraziers wins over quarry more so the 2nd a great.
foster and ali are nice, but.. are they better than georges ko of norton and lyle. i think george has the edge.

i would also put bert cooper and pierre coetzer above peralta.

    It is Frazier.

Frazier cleaned out the division. Frazier had his own era 67-71.
