George Foreman Vs Joe Louis

I will always go Joe in the heavyweights. I know George is great and from a different time , but Joe will always be special.

 

Foreman due to his toughness. Nobody really beat Foreman forgetting Ali.

Also Joe Louis fought more bums than any HW champ did and will.

Joe Louis because he can fight going backwards and his precision straight shots will not only keep George at bay, but will consistently land first.

Louis is simply the better puncher (not bigger puncher) and will be able to dish out alot more than he takes in.

Foreman - bigger, stronger, tougher, huge reach advantage, etc.

Louis might be more technical but the physical part is just too much to overcome. Foreman is a not a shabby technician either.

Foreman was much too strong/big for Louis. He would have KO'ed Louis within 8 rounds. Although a great fighter, Louis lacked the ring intelligence of an Ali, which would definitely be needed to beat a prime Foreman.
