For sure but is he overwhelmingly defeated the best opponent either beat and did it to peak Norton too who is Holmes best win for mine. Speaking strictly wins these are the two top end between them.

Frazier was still plenty capable. Even after Foreman he was giving a good version of Ali plenty of curry and beat top 5 and top 10 opposition. They all have their so called lackluster defenses particularly against guys they are hugely favored to beat. Both were still gone inside 4.

With Holmes we could visibly see his slow but steady decline. Not so with Frazier. As i said he was still beating top 10 and top 5 opposition after Foreman. Sure he had to have declined a bit but he was still one of the big 3 for sure.

Top end is shaded by Foreman. Holmes has the longevity which is somewhat countered by Foreman winning the lineal title back - an incredible achievement.

I don't think Foreman was exposed. There was a lot of things going on. I would have loved to see Foreman come back in the early 80's. Go after Weaver or Dokes and then unify.

His run of defenses definitely are a big plus for him even tho he did shut up shop post Cobb.

You can argue either way imo. If Foreman didn't regain the title it would be an open and shut case. Matt has Foreman one spot up and Frazier another spot up above both of them. I'd be interested to see where Flea has them. Pretty sure he has Holmes #7 or #8.

I imagine Holmes took Weaver fairly lightly. He wouldn't take Foreman lightly.

    I got Holmes 10-5
