    Who wins?

Firpo is known for his war against Dempsey that lasted 2 rounds
imo Foreman whoops his ass in a round

Well one things for sure,... either way it's over in two minutes or less, they would both swing for the fences.... look out though.... Firpo although a 15 to 1 underdog, he can KO a Northern Territory Water Buffalo, if he lands solidly on chin or temple.... Damn, I'd pay a years salary to see that fight.

Foreman climbs off the canvas to win.

A rare scenario that has Foreman as the technician.

Foreman whips him in a wild slugfest.

Nah...George would make Firpo hit the deck in the first, courtesy of a shove and then cave the roof in on him by the 2nd round...2 knockdowns and the ref stops it.

The bigger, badder and tougher bull wins and it's not Luis Firpo. The above post about covers it.

    To make it interesting.

Nobody can prove me wrong if I said Barbados Joe Walcott would destroy Wladimir Klitschko.

    That's about right.

This is why these "fantasy fights" should not be taken too seriously. I doubt most would have given Firpo a chance to knock Dempsey out of the ring either until he actually went and did it. Or for Ron Lyle to have Foreman face-first on the canvas.

Not sure why you brought it up in this thread though, as every single poster has picked Foreman to win:huh

Even Janitor(though i imagine it was painful for him, and 30 minutes of hard thought were spent, looking for a rational reason to favour Firpo)

    McMustache would have destroyed Foreman.

Firpo is way to crude. He got a piece of Dempsey with a haymaker because Jack was recklessly wading in trying to finish. Jack was fighting like a killer, not a professional boxer, and overestimated just how ready to go his opponent was. He got clipped, it happens.

Foreman destroyed folks in a far less vicious way. He threw wide punches, constantly came forward, but he did throw his jab, maintain his distance, and try to land the right shots. Firpo doesn't get the chance to score a fluke knockdown. He gets run over in one or 2 rounds, cornered, battered, and eventually a right uppercut clubs him out.

    This one isnt hard.
