'74 Foreman and '91 Preacher George vs. the Jinx

  2. foreman 74 would smash spinks , he would catch michael against the ropes, maybe even foreman would put spinks out of the ring like firpo did with dempsey(but michael would get knocked out). foreman 91 would need 2 clean shots to put him to sleeping , but spinks was very fast he could outbox this version of george.

Light-heavyweight Spinks was no match for any version of Foreman.

are we talking LtHvywt Spinks, or "hvywt Spinks?

Foreman needs only one punch on any verson of Spinks like Tyson proved.

    I like this assessment.

A 20 something year old Foreman was an aggressive starter and devastating puncher. Spinks was a man who took his time warming up and probably wasn't very well suited for taking a devastating heavyweight punch from an all time great hitter.. Therefore, its reasonable to assume that a young George would have caught him early.. On the other hand, a 40 something year old Foreman had improved in some ways with defensive skills and energy saving tactics, but I don't know if these things would have aided him against a prime spinks, as George had lost a lot of his early round gusto, and perhaps even some of his snap.... I wouldn't bet money on it, but a 1985 spinks may have outboxed a 1990 George Foreman to a close decision.... But I say that with no real conviction..

Prime Foreman crushes him within the first round.

Old Foreman loses a decision. Old Foreman did not fight at a fast pace and was thoroughly outboxed by Michael Moorer (yes, I know that was 1994 version, not 1991, but his style was the same) and I think Spinks was more suited to outbox George than Moorer was.

Old Foreman gets completely outboxed and embarrassed. Young Foreman stops him.
