One of the biggest fights in boxing history would have been the fight between “Big” George Foreman and “Iron” Mike Tyson.

Cant imagine Old George could beat Mike honestly… he was too old to eat all of Tysons shots or react to his speed. Young Foreman is a whole different story but I got Mike beating him while hes elderly.

Tyson wanted nothing to do with Foreman or the fight would have happened, style was this is Tyson's nightmare.

Simply watch their fights with Stewart and you’ll know exactly why the fight didn’t happen.

The Foreman that fought Holyfield would take too many shots. UD for Mike, with George's face looking worse than ever at the end.

Young George by murder in 2. Mike is a midrange fighter and fighting in the mid range against George is not something you're gonna win. Mike is gonna try to jump in with punches and George just pushes him backwards and bombs away. If you take away Mike's forward movement, you strip him of most of his leverage.

With Old George I've slowly started to lean at the fight as more even.

Firstly A lot of people look at George and say "Stylistic NIGHTMARE" because of the Frazier situation. Well, George abanndoned the Slugger style after Zaire for a more boxer puncher style, which is what almost got George KOed by Lyle and because George was so afraid of gassing when Lyle was in rope-a-dope position George just went "duuuuuuuuuuuh, what I do". George gets his ass kicked the whole time he uses the Old George fighting style Lyle knocks him down, and George says **** this and decides to go back to being a Slugger and knocks Lyle down. In the 5th he goes back to being a boxer-puncher and gets knocked down then as he gets hit more he says **** this then decides to slug it out and wins.

Old George was a crap fighter from the fights I saw against Moorer,Holyfield and Morrison. What George relied on in his comeback was his chin and it made him look better than he was. He would do his jab jab one-two ,being a heavy bag while doing it, chose a round to blow his load, then go back to being a heavy bag for the rest of the fight.

I don't see Mike knocking George out, George's chin was too good. I see Mike trying to KO in the first 3 and George lazily tries to jab nad sometimes tries to trade. Mike now slows down and just outjabs George, George picks round 9 or 10 to blow his load, then he is a punching bag for the rest of the fight and Mike wins a pretty shitty UD

It's a 50/50 fight between Young Georges and Tyson but Tyson would murder Old Foreman, just too quick for him.

I can entertain the second part of your post.

But young George vs Tyson is like 80-20 at least in George’s favour. Furthermore. Mike is in danger of being very seriously hurt in that matchup.

Just being curious, what elements make you think that young Georges should be favored as much as 80/20 ?
    Thanks

Prime for prime Foreman murders Mike.

In the 90s Mike beats George up.

    Don't think so.
Tyson had an excellent chin and was not easy to hit. He was also a great counterpuncher in his prime.
