Prime Foreman was 6'3 225 pounds, but would look like a dwarf next to Valuev. How would Foreman cope with a 7'0 300 pound heavyweight?

Prime Foreman would stop him brutally...

    Could he reach Valuev's chin?

If Haye managed to catch Valuev and throw him off balance, then Foreman could do it even better...

It would be quite a sight to see a man of Valuev's size toppling over.

    Are people on here sadists?

Even if he survived the distance the punishment Valuev would take would be life changing.

    I would not watch it.

It would make Holmes v Cobb look like a ballet dance.

People don't think Marciano beats Foreman because of the size difference, but thr size difference was even much greater between Foreman and Valuev

Is Valuev a great though ? Or was he a pretty ordinary Super Heavyweight and the same guy that was lucky to win a decision over an almost 50 year shot to pieces Holyfield ?

It's not just size it's how fighters match up and how good the fighters are. Marciano is a great Cruiserweight going up against a much bigger great Heavyweight in Foreman with a considerable stylistical disadvantage.

Foreman is a great Heavyweight going up against an ordinary Super Heavyweight and he doesn't have a stylistic disadvantage.

    How is that relevant Jake?

Marciano had severe trouble with ancient light heavies, Foreman destroyed men far, far bigger than that even in his '40s.

Skill is importnant too and so is style - no swarmer in history walks into Foreman and survives those awesome uppercuts.

Not Marciano, not Frazier, not Tyson.

    In my opinion of course.

Valuev may survive. He was an iron chinned 310 pound super heavy.

That is what I said, I can' really see anyone stopping him but the endless punishment woukd be just appalling.
