 Don't you mean when Lyle was blowing like a beached whale and standing stock-still!!?? Lyle's heart had already gone and already looked resigned to his fate because George had taken the sting out of him

  2. yes, if he was too green, then imagine an more mature foreman :rofl. in the documentary "when we were kings" the man said that after of the first round against foreman , was the ONLY time that he saw fear in the eyes of ali. AGAINST "THIS GREEN" FOREMAN

You were not being addressed. If you read it is in response to another poster's comments on Foreman's jab ...

 What planet are you on mate - Marciano doesn't take a punch as well as Foreman - oh yeah Foreman really took those HUGE shots from Peralta real well - he wasn't swaying around and almost falling over due to his own poor balance?? - Rocky bleeds on request - yeah you're right sorry no one would bleed with their nose split in half I guess??? :patsch Oh and yeah he is a bit smaller isn't he - oh yeah and Dempsey was smaller than Willard right??

I was at the Garden when 6ft 195lb Jerry Quarry dominated the 6"3 Lyle and he rocked Lyle badly(and this was a prime Lyle). Quarry hurt Lyle and Ron fought a survivors fight from that point on. Foreman avoided fighting Quarry and somehow did not fight Bonavena, none of these men could hit like Marciano IMO but I am still curious to how Foreman would have done, I think Quarry had a good shot to stop George...

We can make excuses for Foreman's loss to Young and Ali but we really don't know how that young Foreman would do against a puncher because he never fought a real banger in career 1. We do know Foreman lacked stamina so the type of fighter that could take him into deep waters and drowned him were good candidates to beat him.

Because of the Frazier fight and Marciano's willingness to mix he does not look like the perfect candidate to some but other than Lennox Lewis and the Klitschko the champs that could take you out with one punch were not Giants and I am talking about Dempsey,Louis,Baer,Walcott,Charles,Marciano, Liston, and Tyson

If we call Lyle a banger well than Foreman had a life and death battle against him and if they rematched would you bet your house on Foreman...he was down 2 times and rocked and reeling enough for the ref to stop it in Lyles favor. I am not so sure that Foreman does so well against a puncher

Congratulations You have just entered my very own hall of fame - for the most ridiculous statements I have ever read in print on this forum - :rofl:rofl:lol::lol:

  7. you are comparing jess willard(a heavy bag) with george foreman top 5 hw ever.(if you had some credibility you lost it). Marciano was down by walcott who was a kid compared with foreman in terms of hitting power and strength

You're using Foreman beating Peralta as a way to prove that he would beat Marciano!!??? aaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahaha Peralta exposed Foreman pretty embarrassingly - and Peralta couldn't punch his way out of a paper bag!!

    Like Frazier?
I've pissed off boxing over the last twenty years because of the MULTI-"champs" in every division and no one fighting anyone and have grown to hate these mythical matchups of fighters 20-30-40-50-60 years, etc..removed from each other.
That being said, I sometimes like the mythical matchups and a Frazier-Rock pvp sounds much better to me than almost anything.
I see a pre-Ali Foreman knocking the Rock all over the ring in short fashion. BUT...a 52 George would have been more of a gangling somewhat wild 210'ish-er and a mid-70 Rock would have been a 195-205 chisled machine.
    Who knows?

  10. IF YOU CHECK IT, EVERY USER DISAGREE WITH YOU ON THIS THREAD, SIMPLY BECAUSE YOU ARE RIDICULOUS. A PRIME FOREMAN 72-74 WAS ABSOLUTELY FASTER THAN ROCKY MARCIANO. AND YOU ARE THE ONLY RIDICULOUS HERE.:deal YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A ROCKY FANBOY AND IT IS A FACT

No dill-brain just making the point that - ONCE AGAIN THIS IS NOT TOP TRUMPS!!!!!! You can't just say something like well he was bigger so he would kill him - that's just dumb - totally dumb :patsch - but then saying Walcott was a kid in compared with Foreman in terms of hitting power just shows how limited your knowledge/understanding is

  12. obviously you are mentally ******ed or 15 years old for sure. My answer was for other guy, because he said foreman did beat only 2 great men (norton and frazier) and i said that foreman beat chuvalo, peralta and lyle too.

You should accept that your hero rocky would be defeated by several fighters from other eras. He is not even the best cruiser. Joe louis, holyfield and possibly dempsey would beat him.

  13. really you should be ashamed, you are a joke honestly
