    jimmy young? peralta?

Ali survived because george was green and had gassed out fighting like a god damn ape with his chin in the air.

  2. jimmy young never faced a prime george foreman, post zaire foreman was completely finished mentally.
no way young might survive against an motivated prime foreman.( frank lotyerzo said it too). and anyway young was an stylist, marciano was not nearly young!!!! to compare a short puncher cruiser with an hw stylist is simply absurd.
peralta? foreman was a green boy when he faced peralta and george did beat goyo twice, peralta had a hell of record. i doubt seriously that goyo might survive during all the fight against foreman 73-74.

you have to admit that there was something wrong with Georges attitude all along. the guy was so immature and unstable that he retired after a religious experience. motivated or not George was swiping and whirling foolishly even in his key fights. plus, nobody had a problem finding his kisser. foreman got unprofessionally frustrated and tired if he wasn’t making an impression. when George swapped punches in an exchange with a good fighter he went over 3 times out of 3, remember it was all one way for George other than against peralta, lyle, young and ali in career1.

  4. george foreman could not ko frazier for the account, frazier got up 100 times and you are saying that he was not durable? you are a mad man!!! marciano was down by a past prime little cruiser joe walcott,
WHEN WAS TESTED MARCIANO BY A REAL BIG HW PUNCHER? ANSWER NEVER!!! FOREMAN WOULD ABSOLUTELY DESTROY MARCIANO VERY EARLY,AND IF A PAST PRIME WALCOTT COULD PUT ROCKY DOWN, RON LYLE WOULD PUT DOWN THE ASS OF ROCKY FOR SURE.

Lyle could hit but to be described as murderous puncher is a stretch.

Lyle decisioned 5'9 Bob Stallings who was stopped by Arnie Brewer,Jack Bodell,Al Lewis,3 fight Willie Moore, Larry Middleton and Larry Alexander

    In 2 fights with-195lb Gregorio Peralta Lyle w10 D10

6' 200lb Jerry Quarry dominated Lyle and never hurt Quarry who staggered Lyle badly

    Lyle w10 Wendell Newton,
Newton was KO'd by Franco Depiccolo
    KO'd by a 2 fight Oscar Bonavena
    KO by Leotis Martin

    Lyle w10 Lou Bailey
    Bailey was KO'd by Jess Boudry, Floyd Joiner,Sonny Banks,Doug Jones,James Beatie,Tony Doyle,Shavers,Rodney Bobick,Foreman

Also in his wins against the better class fighters Lyle won decisions over Stan Ward,Joe Bugner,Jimmy Ellis, Oscar Bonavena

So despite Lyle's size I would not classify him as a murderous puncher when he moved up in class

  8. , LYLE FACED GREAT RIVALS ALI,FOREMAN,YOUNG, SHAVERS,QUARRY,BONAVENA, PERALTA,BUSTER MATHIS,JIMMY ELLIS.
WALCOTT KNOCKED OUT A PAST PRIME CHARLES , END OF THE HISTORY.
RON LYLE WAS HARDER PUNCHER THAN WALCOTT AND MUCH STRONGER.AND WE NEVER SAW PRIME LYLE BECAUSE HE DID HIS PRO DEBUT IN HIS 30s.
WALCOTT WAS NOT EVEN A HW.
AND NO ****ING WAY WALCOTT WOULD PUT ANYONE OVER.

    he would put anyone over.

  12. it prove absolutely nothing, every fight is different. well ingo johansson destroyed eddie machen in 1 round, sonny liston could not ko machen, so according to your theory ingo was harder puncher than liston. BULL****., ruddock could ko smith and tyson could not. ron lyle knocked out mathis in 2 rounds, quarry could not ko mathis and joe frazier did beat mathis by tko in 11.
LIKE I SAID, LYLE DID HIS PRO DEBUT IN HIS 30s and still his %ko was very good, he was a ****ing very hard puncher.

  13. yes i agree, it is the most stupid testament that i did read ever

If you don't consider Walcott a hard pinpoint puncher or consider Archie Moore a puncher then I don't know what to tell you. 6"ft. 200lb Jerry Quarry owned Lyle by the way

  15. ron lyle was harder puncher than moore and walcott for sure, moore was a great puncher but he was a lhw.quarry weighed 200 pounds and? he did beat lyle by ud and it prove? , shavers knocked ellis out, ellis did beat quarry, quarry did beat shavers, ellis did beat bonavena, bonavena did beat chuvalo, chuvalo knocked out quarry and lyle did beat ellis and bonavena. ellis lost against bugner and lyle did beat bugner,,NORTON DID BEAT ALI EVERY FIGHT REALLY AND FOREMAN DESTROYED NORTON, ALI DID BEAT FOREMAN and? styles make fights.
AND MARCIANO NEVER WAS TESTED BY A PRIME TOP HW PUNCHER LIKE FOREMAN,SHAVERS,FRAZIER,TYSON...
