    I'm not interested in being drawn into your mutual hatred for McVey. You and he hate each other. You always row. The post that I quoted of yours seem to be aimed more widely at the forum, and specifically at the "wankers" who "secretly hate Marciano."

    It was an odd remark, out of character and bound to make trouble.

    It's not the same as your continued argument with another poster.

    Than you shouldn't have injected between me and McVey. We were going back and forth and you butted in with this:

    "No reason to start in with "blah blah blah" and calling people who disagree with you wankers"

    That was between me and McVey. The "blah blah blah" was addressing him and you know that.

    And the acutal quote:

    "These threads are really just wank fests for Marcaino haters. "

    I never said people who disagreed with me were wankers. And it actually recieved a great deal of positive response from both sides. It temporarily sobered this thread, temporarily.

    So again, play priest to both of us or neither of us.

    he faced the best of his era and he did Ko big guys 6"6 and 250lbs and 6'4 and some beefy guys but also Ko'd Joe Louis but the fact is Marciano fought 5 #1 contenders and the 6 ft guys beat all of the taller or heavier guys

    As far as Lyle he could not stop Joe Bugner, a shot Jimmy Ellis (who was Ko'd in 1 by Shavers)Bob Stallings,Wendell Newton, and 8 fight Stan Ward,Jimmy Ellis beat him throw in the often KO'd Lou Baily who went 10 with Ron yet Lyle had Foreman down and shook many times in their fight and the ref could have stopped the fight in Lyle's favor numerous times i think Walcott beat him

    I've already explained to you the difference.

    McVey was criticising you.

    Your criticism seemed to be aimed at the wider forum, "the wankers" (or, if you prefer, people who are indulging in wanking, together, a "fest", if you will, suggesting many more than one participant :lol:) who are picking Foreman, and suggesting that there was a forum-wide conspiracy designed to undermine Rocky Marciano.

    Probably you can see the difference between this, and one poster being critical of another poster who doesn't like that poster, and vice-versa, and why one might draw a "wtf?" and why the other is an absolutely normal daily occurrence.

    The absolute normality of your interactions with McVey is of no interest to me, nor yours with his, but, as i've already explained, your more inclusive remarks seemed out of character, and more objectionable to me.

    Why are you reiterating whom Marciano beat? I already know.:huh Lyle couldn't ko Bugner? Not many did. I think Lyle kos ****ell and before 9 rounds. You think Walcott beats Foreman ? Well you are entitled to that opinion. I think the underlined is egging the pudding somewhat.

    haha one of the best jokes in the history on this forum is saying that marciano had a better chin than frazier, it is a complete bull**** based on absolutely no real fact except the poor imagination of 4 nostalgic freaks. joe frazier nevr got hurt by guys who weighed less of 200 pounds, marciano strugled and got hurt and knocked down by a 40 years old former ws and lhw archie moore and lasted with him ver long, joe frazier took every shot from bob foste rlike nothing and then destroyed the killer lhw puncher in 2 rounds. walcott was close to 40 and he was not even a hw, and of course tha the was not a puncher for a REAL HW, he did hit hard for a cruiser. even foreman could not keep frazier down... foreman would have killed the poor 185 pounder man like a little kid, probably like a yo yo around the ring. stop imaginating nonsenses. better match marciano with floyd patterson and these type of guys haha, and ron lyle would have put the ass of rocky in the floor 3 times.
