FOREMAN WAS NOT HARD TO HIT BY LONG OR FAST FIGHTER WITH LONG REACH, NOT BY SHORT PUNCHER AND MUCH LESS BY A SHORT CRUISER AND THE MOST SLOW HW CHAMP EVER.

 

well, i think that foreman might take the best shot from marciano for sure, and anyway marciano might not catch foreman with a clean shot, too short, too small, too slow, simple. Frazier could not do it so marciano might not.

 

with few efficiency always. Foreman would push back rocky like a doll, and very hardly rocky might do any effect on foreman. No contest, really i do not know because some people compare rocky with foreman

 

The boxing is on styles, honestly i think that rocky would fight much better against ali than foreman did. But foreman kills rocky, simple. Styles make fights

 

again jimmy young.... Foreman was not foreman mentally when he faced young, he wanted to show to the people that he might go to the distance and he was tired, and depressed. He was down 1 second... It was not even a knock down in my opinion.
Ali did try to knock him out early and of course foreman took every shot from ali. He had problems with stamina after of 7 rounds. But ali had the perfect combination with the style, the stamina,the speed and the chin to avoid and to tire foreman . Marciano not , simple. Ron lyle was a hell of puncher , and he was stronger than marciano for sure, he was 6´3 and 220 pounds of pure ripped man, very muscular. With long reach, and lyle could fight and he could punch too, he was versatile. Marciano not.
Like i said the only man who might give to foreman a fight would be prime charles because he was fast, he had skill, but i think that early or later foreman would need just a single shot. Marciano never faced even a prime charles.
about the fight of foreman-lyle foreman took the shots and he was the man who was up in the end, it is the difference between a great fighter and a legend. and everybody know that young did beat ali,norton,shavers and larry holmes never faced young so the argument "jimmy young" is very boring and pure nonsense. i never said that foreman was invincible(nobody is invincible, every fighter could be defeated in "the night"), simply marciano was not even close to be a competent match for foreman.

 

And if he does that, he may have killed himself in the process! I do not mean that in a nasty way, either.

Marciano's defence was his offence! He was not like say, Tyson, who was also short for a HW, who moved his head, had great handspeed, footspeed, etc.

I do think Marciano would soak up a lot of George's shots, but the refeee would have to save him at some point! I see an uppercut lifting Marciano off the canvas in a similar fashion to that of Frazier in the first fight with Foreman!

 

if he was green is not matter, it would be a factor against a tactical boxer like ali. not against marciano. foreman was "too green" for frazier and chuvalo too(both very solids 214 and 215 pounder, ) , and you saw both fights. marciano weighed 185.
