People talk about Joshua being a physical marvel
I don't think he looks anywhere near as formidable as young George

Nothing heavyweight-wise...offensively, that is, impresses me as much as Foreman-Norton. George reminded me of a fully grown African lion destroying an impala or a hyena vs Norton....

My lion analogy concerning GF would apply big time in a Young Foreman vs Hasim Rahman hypothetical fight....it would be a lion destroying a hyena.

RC Joshua has that body builder type look that mean nothing and isnt intimidating when u see it but Foreman has this brick wall look about him. A little harder to describe but just plain nasty!

Yeah, Rahman would be wrecked in a great wrecking....destroyed in a great destruction....killed in a great killing. And the thing would be, Rahman arguably had better boxing skills but Foreman would still just walk him down and destroy him like it was just meant to be. Reminds me of how engineers go through these great lengths to design a earthquake resistant building, but when an actual earthquake happens, it just topples right over. And that's how I think Foreman would beat many more skilled and somewhat bigger heavyweights.

Yes,...exactly! I thought, for instance, that no matter how well proportioned and classicly "perfect" Kenny Norton's physique was, that George Foreman was "built for business"...and seemed to convey "power" far more than Norton. Again, it was a lion vs an impala.

Yes exactly,...those boxing skills would have meant nothing at all vs the young George.

Would be a great fight, can' help but imagine foreman winning though, liston was a much better boxer, but if foreman drags him into a slug out foreman wins, quoted cus nobody can beat foreman in a slug out, and liston had a tendency to go toe to toe with other sluggers seen in the williams fights

Would all depend on who's chin gave way first. Would be a last man standing sort of deal.

Tyson, Lewis and Holyfield are the only one's I'd favor over a young Foreman, but admit that there'd be no foregone conclusions. Tyson and Holyfield I think had the requisite speed and skill and chin to get the job done. Lewis I think had the speed and skill. They all hit hard enough, even Holyfield. It's just that out of the 3, Lewis I feel would be the most vulnerable because he showed he could be stopped with a single shot and it happened 2x. A young Foreman would be a serious health hazard to anyone who could even hypothetically be stopped via a single shot.

I used to favor AJ over him, but now give a younger Foreman the edge. I think AJ may've turned out to be a formidable opponent, but I don't know about his chin and Foreman's aggression + punching power could very well overwhelm him. But that's another fight that's not a foregone conclusion. I think he'd beat Wilder, Parker and Ortiz but they could have there moments. He TKO/KO's all of them. I actually think Foreman would convincingly beat most of the top rated contenders we've seen since his time. I mean, there are a few who could cause an upset on the right night, but if we took a list and picked names at random, odds are, I'd say Foreman likely beats them.
