    Prime for prime.
How does Witherspoon go to battle against Foreman?
Tim was durable through out his career, I don't really count the Smith Ko, so that's surely helping him.
Do you think the Witherspoon that almost beat Holmes, could defeat 1973 type Foreman??

6:28 right glove picks off straight right.
Tim was hard to hit with right hands, his cross guard would work better v Foreman than Norton`s did, Tim had better head movement than Norton which would help him too.

8:40 Foreman`s jab important in this fight. 8:43 Foreman`s jab was quick.
George kept his lead hand extended meaning his jab didn`t travel far I feel he would have controlled Tim with his jab.

Foreman in a very close fight, similar to the Norton fight except Witherspoon had faster feet than Ken so it would have been much closer.

Foreman in a similar fight to the Norton?

I think it would look just like the Bonecrusher Smith rematch except Timmy wouldn't have to take a dive in this one. Foreman would crush him.

Foreman wins this one, pretty sure.

Well, it really is up to whether the Smith ko was for real.

I personally have a very hard time believing Tim would just throw away the title ala Bowe under Newman. I do have sympathy with aspects of his story, but overall both it and the fight video don't seem to entirely mesh. I do lean toward Tim being distracted, thus maybe getting hit with a shot he should never have been it by.

I'd bet on this fight, and that would be for Foreman to crack the heck out of him in 3 at the very latest.

I always thought, he came in to the Smith fight with no intention of even trying to win. I think he was that fd off with all the DK going s on and he was past caring.
And Smith maybe picked up on this so steamed in to him.

Yes, George should be a massive favourite going in. We're talking focused, fit Witherspoon here.
Do we think he could get past 3 rounds - if he can and he's somehow there at the half way point, then Tim's odds rise.

If it's a very close fight, how is it remotely similar to the Norton fight? I'm with @Fergy . You got some explaining to do, boy.

Foreman gets in close and hammers him with the uppercuts. Once Witherspoon finds out how hard Foreman hits with his jab, he will have to stand and trade.

He is a little more durable than Norton.

    Highly unlikely.

Although I'd like to believe that Witherspoon had the strength and the tools to keep Foreman at bay and give him something to think about (at least for a while), I think it more probably ends quite quickly in Foreman's favor.

    Foreman runs him over.
