Zaire George or comeback George vs. a prime Tucker. Who wins?

I have a lot of respect for George Foreman and Tony Tucker. Prime vs prime, it could go either way on any given day imo. I'd give the slight edge overall to Foreman, but i could see a prime Tucker taking any George the distance and winning a decision. Hell, if Jim Young could do it, so could Tucker easily.

young george-gets to him within 5, behind maybe 3-1 on the cards
    old george-loses a 9-3 decision

Tucker would beat Old George fairly easily.

He'd probably pack it in against a younger George and lose a decision.

If Jimmy Young could beat Ali then he could of beat ever person you claim Ali could beat to then right?

Comeback George would be easily beaten by Tucker.

No he would not, Old George would beat him, Tucker would be way too tentative like he was against Lennox

I'll call you on that one..no way in hell. Their styles were so dissimilar and Tucker was nowhere the defensive genius that Young was. Tony wasn't as slick.

Yes, which is why George Foreman chose not to fight Tony Tucker when he was George's mandatory. Axel Schultz was risky enough; Tucker would have outboxed George easily.

Tucker was shot by the time he fought Lennox. Yet he still managed to take a 28 year old Lewis the distance. The Tucker from the 80's beats old George AND Lennox Lewis.

The Jim Young reference was simply a surface comment meant to push home the general point. A prime Tony Tucker is better than Jim Young ever was.

Is this directed at me? If so, i'm not sure what you're getting at here? Young lost to Ali.

No Young was robbed against Ali. Young clearly won. Tucker fought nothing like Young. Because Young got lucky against Foreman then Tucker would?

Old Foreman was only interested in money and taking the least armount of risk to get it. Also I think they only gave Foreman 90 days or so to fight Tucker so he just gave up the belt.

Zaire George would stop a prime Tucker in the middle rounds, Tony a very good boxer, but I don't think he's strong enough to handle Zaire George.Comeback George would have his moments, but lose to Tony by a close decision.

Tucker's career stagnated because he fought too many stiffs, but there's no doubting the guy had serious talent.

He was durable enough and talented enough to fight through any scary moments to outbox George for most of the fight.
