Foreman who couldn't knock out Alex Stewart, Tommy Morrison, Lou Savarese, Crawford Grimsley would knock out both of them? :nut
Vitali is underrated. Lewis and his fans just cant give the credit he deserves cause he was giving Lewis all he could handle. Lewis went after the cut to worsen it and force a stoppage cause he knew he was in deep. You say overrated, Lennox barely beat Ray Mercer. Infact a lot of people think he lost the fight. Now I dont think Lewis was overrated, but its too easy to blame his lackluster performance on this and that rather than give Vitali credit.
Foreman got outboxed by lesser boxers in his career. He loses to Vitali by wide margin. Foreman-Bowe would be a brawl not unlike Foreman-Briggs. Bowe beats old Foreman but loses to young version.
Prime George battles it out with Bowe in an entertaining fight but they exchange once too often and Bowe hits the canvas in round 7. Foreman KO7 Bowe George vs Vitali is a tougher fight. Corrie Sanders and Lennox has Vitali in trouble. Chris Byrd? I think Foreman takes this one as well by late TKO. It would be a decent battle for a while but when Vitali get tagged he just leans back and away and refuses to engage George. He does his normal chicken dance when George slams him with uppercuts. And Vitali's body gets pounded, his skin is slashed to ribbons, and he is on the ropes getting pounded by an almost completely gassed Foreman when the Ref calls it! Foreman TKO7 Klitschko Old George loses a lopsided decision to Vitali but hits him decently a few times. Bowe would most likely win a decision over Old George too unless he gets too cocky and stands there and takes one or two on the chin.
This does not look like a guy who stops Vitali or Bowe. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cKVYOZOJLqo"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cKVYOZOJLqo[/ame]
Did you watch them..? I-- Bowe came into this fight as a renowned champ; Golota as a relative unknown "Great White Hope." What unfolded was a night of high drama as Bowe was taught a boxing lesson with Golota punching him round the ring as if it were Bowe who was the novice. -- II-- Golota, while ahead on all three scorecards, was disqualified after dropping Bowe with three low blows, bringing the DQ at 2:58 of round nine. --
No one in their right mind could say Bowe beat Golota..On the record, Yes. But Bowe got his ass kicked.....Twice!
Maybe that's not strictly true though? I think Bowe out-gutted Golota even though he got his ass kicked in the rematch. I think Golota fouled because he couldn't handle the fact Bowe kept getting up and coming after him. He kept asking him question and would not accept no even though he was getting a beating. I think Golota let the mental pressure get to him and that's why he went back to hitting low.
