their advantage in size makes them not the greatest of all time. They use their boxing skills well for big guys, and the guys they are fighting are just not that good. Heavyweights have always been a lazy division compared to the lower weights.

I don't have a huge opinion on this matter, but I'll say this to all the Wlad fans:

Don't worry about statements like this. It's Beatles syndrome.

The first dudes to get on TV at the beginning of the modern media era basically cemented their legacies by being the first to hit the worldwide mainstream audience. Some of the most talented boxers of this era would have been legendary superstars if they fought back in the 60s/70s. But like modern musicians, they wont ever be able to compete with those legacies, even with deserving talent.

At least they make more $$$ than their yesteryear counterparts.

Their advantages in size should be or could be equalized by speed in the smaller opponents but never is. Lets not forget it's just not size. Valuev was taller and lost to any decent fighter he fought. And there is always is tall fighters in every era, just that they never *usually* accomplish that much. And they are in every division. P Williams for example

Guess that's why Tye fields and grant are always among the top 10

*Majority although many of the good or greats of a certain time period or weight class are a bit taller

Hard to imagine the Klitschko's running anyone down during an interview, presently or after retirement. Just better human beings with the benefit of a better upbringing, I guess!

Unlike Foreman who once got his pet shephard to jump to it's death, inorder to demonstrate it's loyalty, more accurately demonstrate the power he had over the dog. But why should that disturd any of you? We all know how cool it is to torture animals in certain communities.:-(

I was going to mention that disgusting incident but I chickened out due to Foreman`s great boxing legacy. Good on you for not pulling any punches. Just a vile act of cruelty and ego.

Ok you do know where the famous "Bum of the month" came from right? And Holmes never won a Gold Medal at 20 years old. And I don't give a **** if the Olympics "aren't the pros" as you will probably babble out. It's still a great achievement. And Ibragimov, Chagaev, Haye, Thompson, Chambers, and Byrd are a lot better than dozens of names in Holmes title reign. Don't hate :good

George's primary legacy will be felt for decades to come when anyone eats a dry hamburger.

I will never understand why the Klitschkos get all the hate from people that matter in boxing. They fight everyone available, win, humble, love the sport, respectable people in and out the ring.

If they could create better opponents to face they surely will but they fight whoever is available and willing according to the ranks. If people don't like their opponents then blame the opponents.

When George lost, it took him 10 years out of the sport to get over it. Wlad fought his way through the dark point in his career, yet wound up with the exact same amount of losses in that rough stretch (2) as Foreman did before he left the sport. You'd think George would respect that, but it looks like he's intent on showing sour grapes instead.

Wlad has 22 successful title defenses, more than any HW except Joe Louis (Joe had 27).

He has 14 consecutive title defenses without a loss, also more than anyone except Joe Louis (who had 27).

Late in his championship Louis was fighting low caliber opponents. If Wlad did the same thing, he could easily beat that record.

Also, it is very likely that Wlad will retire as the unified champion.

That easily puts him ahead of nearly every HW since Tyson and Ali, who both rank higher simply due to Ring Legend status, not accomplishments.

    George needs to stop talking.

I respected George as a fighter. I don't respect him as a thinker. He is no Einstein.
