Foreman is entitled to his opinion. Foreman's style was vastly different than Mayweather's so can you really be surprised it is a style he doesn't like?
Foreman is a huge De La Hoya fan. Maybe George is just mad that Mayweather kept mocking Oscar and beat him?
I think a lot of old timers in the sport don't show Mayweather respect because they came from a time when a fighter took on all comers. Plus, this Mayweather guy is claiming to be better than all these old timers, just adds insult to injury.
Foreman of all people should be the last guy to be mad at someone for not taking on all comers and being selective with opposition.
That is true, and there is a way to beat floyd. But that doesn't mean you have to respond disrespectfull like that. Can you beat him? As for now I can not come up with someone who would beat him. Because that guy has to have the footwork like floyd, the counter -punch ability like floyd, the quickness of floyd, the reflexes of floyd, and a couple of more things. O wait! There on the horizon I see a kid coming up that might have floyd's number. His name is Yuriorkis Gamboa. Will floyd still be around when Gamboa is ready?
Oh please, the guy wasn't saying anything that was offensive or direspectful. This is a boxing forum. Grow some hair on your chest, and get a set of balls.
It's strange to me that fight fans would still consider any fighter unbeatable. I thought they would have learned their lesson after Liston...or maybe after Buster Douglas....Frazier....or maybe Foreman vs Ali? Guess not.
For one, he's on record as saying that he ducked Quarry. http://www.georgeforeman.com/puncherpages/nontitle-greats.htm
Jerry who? You had to love Jerry. He was "Irish" to the bone and had balls of iron but its fairly safe to say Foreman would have done an even thorough job on him than Ali or Frazier ever did.Anyway God rest his soul.
Oscar ran in the biggest fight of his life and lost when he fought Tito. Mayweather outboxed Oscar and won.
