People forget that Galento wasn’t just a fat guy, before he put on blubber he was actually a pretty stocky guy with a frame that could almost certainly generate a decent amount of power.

Golovkin did make heavyweights he sparred feel threatened but Galento appears to be a natural heavyweight, G is like what 170-175 soaking wet? Odds are Tony hit harder by a considerable margin.

Leonard did not drop his hands when in range and RJJ could do whatever the hell he wanted due to being 5x faster than the other guy.

Not to mention, these guys’ opponents were the likes of Toney and Duran, not no damn Buddy Baer.

    Maybe they're both freakish strong.

Vitali kept his hands low and he was no speed demon.

Louis fought plenty of skilled opponents like Schmeling, Walcott, Conn, etc and still kept his style and made it work.

Which is why Vitali is hardly seen as a master boxer.

He did but he is also 1-1 with Schmeling and he was considerably bigger than Walcott and Conn.

Those 3 were more skilled than 95% of Canelo and Golovkin's opponents.

This site is the only place where this opinion is considered outlandish lmao, you can’t compare HW to MW skill-wise.

You're saying 154 Canelo was a better combination puncher than the current 168 Canelo?

Canelo became a worse puncher as he continues to box...??

Okay so that cancels everything out and their resumes are even.
