That´s like with Ali´s holding, Lewis´holding and hitting, Tyson´s and Marciano´s elbows and so on. It´s not legal, it´s dirty but those guys got away with it for various reasons. The right ref, they were good at disguising it, they did it just as much to not get a point deducted.

Foreman did it to set his opponents on the right range to get his shots in, and he was very good at it. It helped that he was incredibly strong. I wonder if he would have been able to do this against guys bigger and as strong or stronger than him, like Lewis, Bowe, the Klitschkos or even Carnera.

Right, or like Hopkins hitting guys on their thighs or Holyfield headbutting guys. They do it sneaky enough to get away with it.

I doubt the Klits ,or Bowe were stronger than George, and Carnera found
Louis a match for him, in the strength department.
