Some of these George Foreman threads have me thinking about an earlier Big George, big George Godfrey.

What are the best 70s and 90s heavyweight you think Godfrey could beat? I'm talking about the one who fought in the 1920s.

Got me wondering if the original Marvellous Marvin… Hart would do well in the 80s-90s. But what weight?

    Probably CW in the 80s-90s.
With advancements in weight making techniques, capitalising on day before weigh ins, he could likely make LHW today.

I heard he might have deserved the decision against Risko. It seems like later in his career he put on a lot of weight and that might have made him less effective. Against Carnera he was 250 for example when he might have performed better at a lighter weight
