This. Groves has talent, but always seems to choke when he steps up.

yea I think he can if eubank gets overconfident or trys to show off.. however I think eubank will win the fight. which sucks because I am a huge groves fan.

And lets be honest, hes not at his best anymore. If he is, then all the credit to him because he has had a really though career.
When was the last time Groves had an easy fight?

    Of course he can.

Whilst I'm not high on Groves and tbh never really have been the guy as flawed as he is can punch.

CEJ has this granite jaw hype based purely as I see it on that of his dad's cast iron mandible.....can anyone claim that CEJ has actually fought a puncher?

That's the big question isn't it. Does Eubank have his dad's titanium chin, if he does Groves is in big, big trouble. I'm sure Groves will land something big during the fight, might even drop Eubank like he did with Froch, but what does Groves do if he see's Eubank take his best shot and keep coming, does he have flash backs to the first Froch fight?

I'm betting Eubank is durable enough to weather whatever Groves can throw at him and grind him down. Groves hasn't stopped everyone and his power does fade as he tires. He has never stopped anyone beyond the 7th round, so if CEJ can make it to the 2nd half of the fight I expect him to take over and get the stoppage.

He doesn`t have to, he shouldn`t look for a knockout he should just outbox the shoddy Eubank using clever movement to counter the volume punching of Eubank.

I think Groves could have outboxed Eubank sr in his prime and since he knocked down a fighter with a granite chin like Froch he should be able to knockdown Eubank, Froch had a better jab than Eubank has.

Eubank had better defensive skills than Froch ever had as well as better footwork, he was far more elusive than Froch. Unlikely Groves has a Eubank sr walk in with his chin in the air like Froch did. Groves couldn't outbox Froch in the 2nd fight, it was very close on the scorecards, Groves boxing ability is overrated, he's more a puncher than a boxer.

Groves would probably do well early on vs prime Eubank Sr like he did vs Froch but then gets worn down as he is unable to stop Eubank and then gets stopped.

Not a single person from 160-175 can put a dent in Young Christopher, let alone knock him out.
