Eubank sr stopped Benn when he was a gassy reckless middle and Watson in a fight he was losing then managed to land a KO punch apart from that he never knocked out a decent opponent and had trouble leading, his style was based on waiting and countering, which is what his son tried to do before Saunders got tired after outboxing him, hardly impressive.
He was very defensive vs Saunders and then took risks when Billy was tired so he wasn`t caught with any hard shots apar from that he`s never fought a quick fisted puncher so what`s your point, this guy is untested apart his loss vs Saunders.
Eubank stops GGG. My 175 claim is bold, it's my belief and I accept it is just a claim at this stage. There's no doubt in my mind that we'll see Eubank win world titles at 168 and 175.
He's fought monster punchers like Spike O'Sullivan and King Arthur Abraham and walked right through their best punches and barely blinked. Tell me that ain't evidence of a hell of a chin, at worst Jr has a great chin imo
This! But that moron is in love with his supposed "power" (which he has, but its not elitr) and keeps getting into brawls.
Eubank ran from Golovkin, he had a contract, agreed to fight him, but when the time came to fight, Eubank ran like hell! Groves has the power to knock Eubank out, but still not sure who will win..............
When has Jnr ever had a hard fight...the BJS was challenging/frustrating for him but not a hard fight...this IMO will be his 1st real fight.
Groves is flawed and shopworn, but he can still punch. If Eubank stays away the first 6 rds, he can take over in the later part. But if he goes gung- ho, which he almost always does, things could get interesting.
