haha. I agree. Froch will take care of Groves. Beating Degale and an old Glen Johnson doesnt warrant any hype but the Brits always jump the gun. That will end soon as Froch will handle business. And Froch cant do it Ward will dominate Groves.

Smart and humble young fighter. He just won himself a new fan. As others have pointed out the YET part of that statement is most important.

I hate a fighter that has no confidence in himself...This is just another british mental midget that is going to run like a track star against froch and then fall on his face the moment he leaves that miserable little rock and crosses the pond to the big lights in the USA.

This just proves that Ward is not only p4p#1, but that he is the most complete fighter out there. I cannot recall the last time top fighters openly stating they do not want to fight 'the man'. So far we have seen Hopkins openly state it, and now Groves. When will the rest of you ***gots give him his proper due?

Why would anyone go to Oakland anymore, it's like going to Magdeburg and fight Ottke, the refs and judges won't let anyone but Warddke win over there.

Thought Groves won the senior ABA 2 years running? Which as you say is harder than the junior ABA? Groves would beat your Travis boy easy. Travis should call him out and give Groves a chance to avenge his losses.

Why you hate the saint so much? Did he **** you up in the AM's or something? :bbb:bbb

How do you now its BS? Floyd if you believed him schooled Pernall Whitaker yet a few months before/after could not get the gold medal. Sometimes it is what it is.

humble? by saying ward would beat him?

that's common knowledge surely. no one can get close to ward in his division.

sounds like a ****y arrogance more rthan being humble. but froch tauight him well to eat his humble pie, pity it didn't last long and that arrogant ****ney wideboy attitude came back the next morning after getting koed (without the crown he predicted he would have).

Of course he wouldn't, in business terms. Groves is a much more recognisable name and far bigger star following his recent rivallry with the cash cow, and super middleweight number 1, Carl The Cobra Froch. To fight Ward, Groves would have to-

-Fight him in Oakland in front of 180 people, when Groves was just fighting in front of 80,000
-Agree to give Ward 95% of the take from the fight, when he's just made millions fighting The Cobra, why would he fight for a 4 figure sum?
-Have a ref in the fight, that is so lenient to Ward, Groves would be hoping for Harold Foster.
    - Groves would have to take random drug test because he is licensed by the British Boxing Board of Control, whereas no way Ward would agree to have that term in the contract, and will happily juice knowing there is no way the CSAC are rocking up to drug test him.

Doesn't seem like terms anyone in Groves' position would agree too.

groves is a bigger name than ward? lmao. from getting ko'd twice by his only top flight opponent? ward accomplished more beating kessler, than groves will his entire career.

Doesn't mater. Still a bigger name.

Cotto has lost to Austin Trout and he's a bigger name than Trout, and Lara who beat Trout.

That's not how boxing works son.
