refreshing to see someone happy to admit being dropped in sparring good interview cheers for posting :good
He seems like a good guy. His blog’s really down to earth too and it actually feels like he writes it. His whole approach seems very level-headed: work hard, take it seriously, never think you’re in for an easy night.
Comes accross brilliantly, just so down to earth and real unlike a lot of fighters who come on here, who i get the feeling are false.
Thanks for posting. Good interview and he comes across as a really down to earth and genuine guy. I'm a big fan!
just watched on his website decent interview too much football in there , i liked the ring girls vs wags question tho.
Cheers, Rob. I think you've definately surpassed Ishy as the Brit Forum's relentless conduit to all things concerning boxing gossip and news:thumbsup. Next year is a big one for St George. Can't wait:bbb.
Great stuff, I don't know how anyone can not be a fan of his. Where did Talksport get the footage of Groves vs Kukulis in the beginning montage though? I need a copy! :yep
he admitted it in the Hayemaker magazine. stated that its all part of learning and that if he drops a sparring partner he is no longer interested in sparring with them again. Appartently he is Haye's 1st sparing partner at the start of any of Haye's training camps.
I'd love it if groves dropped Haye in sparring "Sorry Dave I aint sparring with you no more, its pointless":rofl
