I'd agree about Martinez being over rated. I don't think he was a great middleweight champion by a long shot. His reign was rather unremarkable.
nobody's bigger than S€xy Sergio, and certainly not Groves, just compare who has more chicks running around them
He didn't lose to P-Will that was a robbery as was the Cintron draw. Groves has slight similarities but not enough to b comparable. And will never be close to Sergio's level but I do like Groves quite a lot.
"George Groves is bigger than Sergio Martinez" - factual statement, can be verified with a scale and measuring tape. "George Groves is a bigger Sergio Martinez" - weird statement, can be verified only after dropping acid.
Groves is a way better boxer than Froch. Groves has much better skill and talent. How the hell he keeps getting knocked out by Froch all the time I just cant figure it out. WTF
Does that mean Froch is a white Roy Jones Jr because he keeps his long arms low to bait in the opponent?
You'd think he would incorporate the leaping hook into his ****nal, it really is all that separates them at this point. :banana (...and he got a crash-course tutorial on it from esteemed Jonesian studies professor Jean Pascal)
Froch would leap like he had a wrecking ball attached to his arm if he tried that, he is faster than I'm giving him credit for but he has his limitations and works effectively with what he's got, somehow the opponent always ends up succumbing to trading with him and a war of attrition is not where you want to be with the stone golem. Except if you're Ward of course, who actually gave Froch some rough times in there despite Froch claiming 'there's no punishment coming from you' at the last face off
