    Apparently he did everything right and stuck to the gameplan! He just couldnt execute it! lmao it's actually one of the funniest things I've ever heard as an excuse which is what it was an excuse.

    I never said it was going to be a tactic that worked.

    But after all the talk about the split, Froch won't care about that. But this will happen at the last minute, Froch will walk to the ring and Booth will be there with him.

    If you listen to everything that has been said - it's all tongue in cheek!

    "groves is wrong" idiot alert....

    Obviously they had an immense fallout and a complete break down of their relationship as they aren't even on speaking terms. If any thing being trained under such circumstances is worse than bottling it up, and moving on.

    Sometimes these things happen in life, boxing history is rife with examples of fighter/trainer disputes.

    Furthermore what I took from that interview is that he already has a strategy to defeat Froch, all thats left is to get in physical condition required and have the trainer correct him if he sees he's not executing the planned strategy in sparring.

    Totally reasonable comments, Groves is simply making the best of a ****ed up situation.

    :lol::lol::lol:

    You make it sound so very easy, I bow to your far superior knowledge, I am so delighted Groves has it all worked out without his regular trainer in hand.

    WTF is he supposed to do? None of us know how bad it has gotten between Groves and Booth. Ostensibly if the relationship is as bad as it appears there's nothing TO do, except to move on.
