Groves fought well and deserved the chance to fight on, however, the needle is becoming childish. Froch as a fighter does not deserve the ridicule he is currently receiving IMO.

Then perhaps he should stop making himself look ridiculous days after the fight.

I said as a fighter. Outside the ring, him and George Grove are as bad as each other

I agree it amazes me Groves got booed on the way in Fought the fight of his life but still came up short, Froch gets put on his arse and beaten for 7 rounds before stopping Groves and becomes the bad guy unreal. Froch did exactly what he said he would do and get groves late. Groves did the opposite of what he said technically and got stopped (harsh but true) why is it we have to knock down our champions instead of praising them? To be fair both of there performance were a credit to Britain and boxing . Why let your self down with this type of bollocks

The video is funny, I think even Froch himself would laugh (as long as Eddie said it was OK to first).

people in this country love a loser, watch when groves is champ in a few years everyone will start hating him again, no other countries fans are as bad as english ones when it comes to hating on their own fighters

Very good but Groves must move on! he got beat on the end of a bad decision doesnt matter, he'll be a champ just needs to be patient.

Infact after that display he might get ducked!

Nonsense. In this country we love winners, but not arrogant, ****y, disrespectful, deluded ones like Carl Froch.

The reason people have turned against him is not just because he seemed to have the ref and judges on his side on Saturday, but because of how he has tried to claim that they got it right, that he was ahead in the fight, and that the ref saved Groves' career.

Froch needs to face up to the fact he's lost a lot of his casual supporters and now probably doesn't have much outside of the Nottingham/East Midland barmies.

    Spot on.

And his comments such as "I defended my titles in emphatic fashion" only add to fans annoyance.

What fan in there right mind dislikes a fighter because the ref made a call, would you stop following your football team if the ref disallowed a goal which resulted in your team winning a match ?
It just goes to show how fickle the fans really are when the boxer (who fought through one hell of a beating for 7 rounds) gets the blame for the refs actions.
I guess your all right Its all a conspiracy to rob Groves, the fighter that was so popular on the way into the ring.
All fighters are deluded to a extent they have to have complete self belief to get in the ring in the first place.
We can argue all day long about about weather Groves was out on feet all not.
I dont see why people are so bent out of shape about not shaking hands at the end of the fight. I want to see boxing master classes or great scraps not statesman.
I dont think to many of us here would shaking hands after debating this fight let alone taking part in it along with the build up

Think they are both coming off as very childish in this whole thing. It's not as if froch made the ref step in though yet groves is throwing as much grief as he can in his direction. If he wants the rematch for me all he needs to do is tell hearn he isn't resigning with matchroom unless it happens. Hearn isn't stupid he knows what groves pulling power will be after that fight.
