George groves lacks the star factor to draw fans and he'll be eclipsed

I like him because he asked Johnny Nelson if he wanted to sit next to James DeGale on ringside.

 

Groves is a lifeless, boring fart but a good talent. He needs rivalries.

 

Anyone looks good next to DeGale.

 

He'll draw fans because the Degale rivalry will be massive in a few years!

Me to and the Degale goggle rinngmark remark was quality.**** thread,groves could probaly draw a couple thousand fans to a fight on his own now,beat Degale again and win a world title he would fill the o2.

 

Going on current form, Groves outsells DeGale quite comfortably.

 

I like Groves a lot, his biggest asset is his will to win.

OP is right, Groves needs DeGale to stay relevant.

Nobody cares about GG on his own, czech out every single press interview he has ever done, the only talking point is a DeGale rematch and his thoughts on JDG's career thus far....

 

You have mentioned everything other than the fact that he is a well schooled perfectionist of the art of boxing , groves is a fantastic British talent who IMO will progress at a steady rate and be a world champ unlike many other fighters who were maybe ! Better on the eye, had more mouth on them,or won an Olympic gold !!!! Did Fraudly teach you guys nothing ???? This is boxing not modeling or marketing guys let's get back to basics plz.

 

He will come out his shell soon enough.

 

This ugly kid business is bull****,he's an average enough looking lad,is an exciting fighter,apart from the degale fight,a down to earth guy aswell,fair enough he wont be a naz or benn but he could yet still have a decent following and be a star...

 

It's like Primadonna Kool has been replaced!
