I agree, I still take interest in his career and hope he becomes a world champion, but not as keen on him as I was

Doesn't mean he.is a good fighter though, most guys have sparred someone at world leve, Groves is turning into an arrogant Haye wannabe

I dont see how people are coming to this opinion, Iv watched his interviews and read his blogs and the lad doesnt seem to have changed at all. He's always come across as a down to earth lad who doesnt mind having a humorous dig at an opponent.

Gives Groves a chance to prove his chin, get rid of ring rust, and of course get a stoppage.

Why did he chicken out of Kenny Anderson? Let me guess, Anderson was a shot away from handing him his ass.

Way he acted about Anderson situation and way he just comes across to me is a guy who thinks he is special, might be wrong but way it seems to me

    Agree with this.

He was humble & funny on his way up. He has changed completely IMO. DeGale is very quiet these days, perhaps the 2 are trading places. (in terms of personality)

Whats Groves actually come away with that's got you thinking like that?

Can understand the feeling on the 'tactical duck' against Anderson. But that fight seems like it definetly will happen after the Sierra fight.

True Bingo, Adam Booth has said it will definitely happen, this is a chance for him to make a name in the US and shed some ring rust, then we'll probably get the Anderson fight in September or October, great fight for Burns v Mitchell undercard.

I havent seen too much of a change in Groves' personality to be honest, maybe he's gained a lot of confidence, which he should after beating DeGale and smashing Smith in two!

Cheers mate :good. I'm a well known Groves critic or as some say a hater. I don't see a change i just see him being himself but get what you mean i had a feeling it was that.

Did anyone notice what Smith said in commentary about waiting for the title and September. I got a feeling Groves is gonna drop the belts and Anderson vs Smith for vacant title.
