groves talking absolute bollocks over at the s cene total , even makes out ward can not hurt certain fighters did he see frochs face after the s6 , groves as lost a fan here and i have followed him from day one , i mean moaning about #15%orgohome and refused the first offer but carl dont want it , proper bell end trying to save face me thinks as he knows he wont agree to the fight waiting on the bid hoping to fu ck froch vacates
Ward hits like a lady and fighters try to get the best terms they can. And you guys say Groves is the one whinging  On topic. Groves deserves a lot more than 15% imo but unfortunately life isn't always fair. He's just gonna have to take what he can get and hopefully the exposure will enable him to get bigger (and easier) paydays in future.
groves trainer qouted v Froch just happened to be the guy in the last fight. George feels the fight was cut short and his chance to become world champion was stopped by a man in a tie. It’s therefore reasonable to expect George to want to show he was on his way to winning by having a rematch. This content is protected , he is chasing the rematch and Carl Froch just happens to be the opponent. “We are not getting carried away with anything or thinking George is about to be world champion. But we now have the rematch which is what we went to the IBF to get.” goalpost moving the rematch is there offered once and turned it down to appeal for more dollar you read that qoute someone is talking bul sh it
It wasn't turned down for more dollar, it was turned down to avoid contract clauses and stop Froch being able to pull out and get away with it. Groves has the rematch ordered by the IBF. He has a guaranteed title shot so there is no reason for him not to try to get the best terms he can.
can you read it aint about the money it s about the easiest route to a title and if the rematch goes a head he will have had two but it aint about the money #15%orgohome / #movinggoalpost , when they went for the appeal it was soley to get the rematch , which is it :think
It's not hard to understand. He has a guaranteed title shot without any clauses. He's trying to get the best deal he can (like anybody would). He hasn't turned down the 15% at the moment, he's just trying to get the best deal he can. Just because it's not about the money doesn't mean he isn't going to at least try to get what he's worth.
look after the fight what did he say i want my rematch where was it mentioned that money would be a stumbling block :think so the ibf then give it him , about what he is worth one world title fight his first which he lost now compare that to frochs twelve against the opposition he as faced , now on a serious level who should be dictating terms , an eliment of doubt has crept into groves mind imo
More likely that none of the top 10 have been willing to fight for the mandate. When was the last time two guys ranked in the top 10IBF SMW rankings fought one another??????:huh Im gonna guess it was Stevenson vs George.:-(
Nobody has said money is a stumbling block. Nobody has said Groves won't fight for 15% but obviously he would like more if he can get it. About what he's worth, he's worth at least 30% because he is a major part of this fight. People want to see Froch vs Groves and without Groves there can be no Froch vs Groves. People don't want to see Froch vs anybody else except maybe GGG and GGG would want more than 15% for sure. Just because he wants as much money as he can get doesn't mean doubt has crept in. If he flat out refuses to fight for 15% then yes, you can say that. If anyone has shown doubt it is Froch. He wanted to fight Chavez Jr or Ward even though he knew he probably wouldn't make more money and the public would rather see him fight Groves. Froch is only taking this fight because he's being pressured by the public and forced to by the IBF whereas Groves has gone out of his way to get this rematch.
FIGHTNEWS Rankings 1. Andre Ward 2. Carl Froch 3. George Groves 4. Robert Stieglitz 5. Mikkel Kessler 6. Arthur Abraham 7. Sakio Bika 8. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. 9. Anthony Dirrell 10. Edwin Rodriguez 11. James DeGale 12. Thomas Oosthuizen 13. Renan St. Juste 14. Karoly Balzsay 15. Badou Jack 16. Maxim Vlasov
The rankings are a funny business. Who else has Groves fought on that list apart from Froch and Degale??
I wasn't saying it having a dig. Just saying its funny how rankings work, I wonder how many of the fighters on that list have actually faced each other. Yeah you are right mate it could have been 16 out of 20. But at the time of the early stoppage it was not looking that way whatsoever regardless of the schooling Froch received in the first 6 rounds.
