A piece of the Adam Booth interview in the April 24th issue of Boxing News:

BN: "...Maloney assessed his rivals and I'd like you to do the same. First off, Sports Network."

AB: "The biggest, the slickest and they'll always be there."

    BN: "Maloney?"

    AB: "No comment."

BN: "Matchroom and the Prizefighter format in particular?"

AB: "Prizefighter is fantastic...All kudos to Matchroom and the board for that."

BN: "Mick Hennessy, who you've worked with recently?"

AB: "...we've just made a couple of fights with Mick, who I rate very highly..."

BN: "Hatton Promotions and Calzaghe promotions?"

AB: "All kudos to them...we'd be open to working with both of them."

BN: "Is there anyone you wouldn't work with?

AB: "Maybe. Look back at my previous answers."

Wasn't as big a hayemaker fan as some on here but think this is a shame. With Warren and maloney having all the power the same prospect vs journeyman rubbish that makes 80% of boxing cards completely forgettable will continue.

That said Hayemaker's demise is a cautionary tale of what can happen when you're a ***** to people on the way up. When he's needed help to get groves/price/Lindsay on bills he's been met with a **** off because of the way booth acted previously. Although I'm sure booth will retain say in direction of groves' career he will have found it terribly humbling to go to maloney (can only assume hatton's weren't interested).

I'd imagine Haye is just relieved to be just thinking about fighting. With Barrett fight debacle and money owed by setanta starting hayemaker means he's nowhere near as rich as he should be at this point. Banging out valuev should change this.

So that's Groves, Price, Jeffries, Booth and Hunter fighting on the 16th, really wish I could afford to make it. :-(

Looks like Hayemaker will just be managing fighters from now on.

Groves should have a domestic title fight next year

Maloney is in a great position now though isn't he. With jeffries and groves he has decent ticket sellers in north and London as well.

Great news for Groves. He will face decent opposition now too and get publicity. Great great news.

What's so great about it? Hopefully he'll get regular fights now, Hayemaker have been incredibly slack lately, but they at least made their fighters step up at a decent pace.

He might end up facing bums now.
