Yep I think Khan was shocked when Sky finaly decided against ripping off the fans like they had done in the past with fights like Salita and Prescott so he had a hissy fit.

With better undercards and/or tied with good cards from the states.

Sturm isnt a puncher and Stevenson is ****

Then dont label Groves as chief support on PPV card in a big fight when you sign him.

    Irrelevant. See above.

I can't help but think that as Bellew/Chilemba II was announced it drained more money from the pot and had to get someone cheap as I'm sure with an event like this Matchroom want to a nice little bunsen burner out of it. Meant to be chasing a home world title fight for September, but surely if there is Abraham V Stieglitz III neither will be ready in September, or they may try and get nominated for a vacant title fight against Bika for WBC

He best deliver some lesser names in good fights and Bute/Pascal.

if bellews fight has used up any spare money for undercard fights its a joke!! i thought they would have both had to take a big pay cut to do it again!!!!

nobody wanted to see the fight again - 1st time around no problem it looked a decent fight - they av dumped the fight on this ppv because they know it wouldnt sell a ticket on its own - its like bellew has become a vanity project for matchroom as hes one of there big 3 fighters and on all the betfair adverts.

booth has selected this opponent for groves as it was stated loads when groves went to matchroom that booth was the boss - thats hearns get out clause for this

sky wont give a toss either has its not going effect ppv sales

But why would anyone WANT to make Bellew-Chilemba II? The fans didn't enjoy it, it wasn't a good fight, and there was no real call for a rematch. The two cancelled each other out for large portions of the fight.

Eddie could have used that money to stack the card with smaller, more entertaining fights. Alternatively, if the Champions' League is the issue, then why choose the same night?

And I think Froch-Pascal II is a more likely next fight than Froch-Ward.

I forgot about Bute/Pascal,that would add some value to it for the hardcore fans.Like i have said before i`m dissapionted but some of the reaction on here is over the top. It`s not as good as hoped but this card is still better then 90% of the ppvs of the past 5 years.

A fight he's not making, that BoxNation would likely have bought. Great value.

Best ppv undercard was magnificent 7 but don't think that did the numbers down to no really big name on it to sell to casuals.

True some good fights there for the boxing fans but, nothing for the casuals to get excited for.

the pressure is on bellew to deliver now, and rightly so. ive made a point to watch his fights and i suppose i could be called a fan up to this point. all the 'ill die in the ring stuff' means **** all when you have watched his last three fights.

hes got to deliver thats for sure.

The pressure on Tony for this is immense. If he loses this then I don't know where his careers going and won't win a world title and has also take up a big chunk of cash for the Froch undercard, which probably won't attract any new real PPV buyers.
