It was never a PPV fight in the first place and the only credibility it could achieve was to put on a stellar under card.

Meanwhile, Eddie has floated the turd to Sky "we are in a building stage now, lets see where we are at in year from now" i.e. free pass for a year of cards packed with prospect v punchbag

I believe that Bellew will feel that he will have to go for it more this time and if it was true that Chilemba had the flu then he will counter and beat Bellew convincely also it can`t be much worse then last time so I do expect a better fight.I would of course preffered a decent opponent for Groves and Hearn will get and does deserve allot of stick for this fight.

I still believe the ppv will do well, Sky will hype the **** out of it and many casuals will buy it after the Champions League final. The casuals won`t know or care if Groves is in a good fight but i`m annoyed because i`m going to this and expected better, still looking foward to Froch-Kessler through.

It's not PPV because it's PPV 'worthy' or whatever. It's because Froch insisted on a Kessler rematch at home. The only way Eddie could tempt Kessler/Sauerland over was by offering them the sort of money that could only be recouped through PPV sales. Froch also wanted a lot of money.

But they're warriors so it's worth £15 of your money.

  7. well thats decided.

will not be buying the ppv. another meh opponent for groves.

only one good fight on the whole card

Exactly. The main event might not be up to much, but the undercard has real depth.

The Khan-McCloskey fight was signed as PPV on the basis that they put together a good undercard. Regardless of whose fault it was, the card was dreadful. So Sky pulled it.

The main event for Froch-Kessler is obviously better, but that doesn't excuse a poor undercard. it's not PPV worthy on the main event alone, which is a rematch of a fight Froch lost pretty clearly.

I might be wrong but I think that people were talking about the Khan card that was pulled from Sky box office which was the McCloskey fight which was a shocking main event ppv and ended up having a **** undercard as well.I`m actually looking forward to Khans undercard next week the main event not so much

the way to judge a PPV undercard would be if you were to take away the main event, would you still be pumped for it as a regular Sky card?
