Well Frank said at the post fight presser that he will try and get Groves out in December in a non-title fight.
Lacy's shot to **** - a really pointless name to have on the record considering his post-Calzaghe career. Miranda - a good name but a big risk at this stage. Maybe in another five fights or so - a good win for a burgeoning contender. Think he's at 175 now though. Green - Green's a tricky customer. I'd put him with Miranda - wait a few fights and then take it as an educated risk. Bika - no, no, no! Bika is just a nightmare for any fighter. He is a guy you should only face when you are at world-level. Anyone below he beats.
I would like to see him get on the Amir Khan undercard and fight someone like Brian Vera or Jesse Brinkley in a 10 rounder.
the problem with allot of the opponenta mentioned is they will ask for quite a bit of money and will want more than 6 weeks notice. If he fights before christmas in the UK or US i have no problem with him fighting a guy whos got a 20-10 record and gone the distance with some of the guys from the Super Six.
i think he shoudl scruff up a fight before christmas for the lonsdale to keeps. no point winning 2 brtish title fights and not go for the third. i would say....mendy, or robin reid (ducks rotten tomatoes) if i where to play it relatively safe, and soon. then anderson or degale vica versa. i love anderson, was the best fighter in the commonwealth games in 2006, sadly he went pro so he could be the front runner before everyone else went pro after beijing, but just got kept behind. real shame because had he been picked up earlier he would of been the british/commonwealth champ before degale and groves are on the scene. anderson could get a fight against smith, paul david. also christian sanavia wanted to get back into euro contention. might be a good way of promoting a fight over an over the hill fighter. and if he does outpoint anderson it would look like a massive step up in class which is sort of is.
