Heard few interviews saying he is now a PPV fighter, crazy thinking really. unless he jumps straight into a big world title fight which is unlikely.

You thoughts on him being potential PPV fighter.

Don't take every single thing a fighter says literally. It was one interview and he has just been punched in the face 100 times. Also its a smart thing to say in terms of getting regular sky dates and more money for them etc.

well the whole of london was behind him.

but he is nowhere near being a ppv fighter. if carl froch isn't, i don't see how he is.

He has the potential appeal of one.

I said this earlier as well... Hayemaker should do some joint partnerships with other Promo companies such as HP and Matchroom. Get a solid solid card going, get it in the O2 again and really promote the guy.

It's a costly investment, but the momentum for the guy is high. Keep it going.

PPV .... Not just yet but the build up to last weekends fight will have increased his following due to the way he handled himself and, of course, the juvenile conduct of his opponent.

I believe that whilst he is nowhere near the achievments of Froch he already has a healthier following and a few fights down the line and maybe a european title fight .... who knows :good

Degale is still a bigger name than Groves.

But Groves is probably now a bigger name Froch (in the UK at least).

But not PPV worthy, only Khan and Haye can honestly say they are PPV fighters.

If you paid for his fight last Saturday then he is right isn't he.

When I heard him say it I thought he did it in a way to have a dig at DeGale. Don't think he meant it to be taken too seriously.

he is actually quite a bright guy.

he does have ppv potential. win the lonsdale outright and pick up the european, have a few fights in the US all live on sky and he will get here by the time a world title comes along.

George Groves is devoid of personality. His thoughts are not his own. The Dark Lord has corrupted him.

  13. There'll be a lot of interest in his next fight now and if he continues improving and gets a world title shot in the future that'll probably end up on SBO. Till then, he'll be headlining his own Sky shows I bet.
