Nah, it certainly didn't sound empty.

It was on ShoBox. That's the show just before Showtime, so people still saw it. :good

Very good performance from the saint, he looks to be improving and was very slick in there at times and countered Sierra brilliantly.

Boxrec have him scheduled to fight in September, with the cut I'm not sure that'll be possible, but if it is that's great because due to previous injuries and other issues he hasn't fought as much as he should have.

Be interesting to see who they put him in with next.

Edit: just seen that the cut means he definitely won't be fighting in September.......damn.

wtf were the judges smoking there? I thought the 1st round was pretty close, but Groves won every other round clerarly, and one of the judges only had 1 point in it!

He has beautiful timing. The way he finishes fights is so impressive.

what about his tendency for cuts? it seems a real problem and im sure that every opponent from this point onwards will be trying to do dodgy clinches. its got to be a real worry for his team going forward.

The way the other threads have been going people would have you believe George got the cut on purpose just so he didn't have to face Kenny.

    :huh

His finishing skills are excellent. The first punch he lands after the both the Smith and Sierra knockouts are brutal and sets up the finish. He has a very good jab but throws it from a weird low ankle leaving his defence to a right hand very open.

A lot of white light skinned fighters are prone to cuts. Groves, Hatton, Tony Jeffries etc. or is this just co-incidence?
