George Groves to fight Paul Samuels

Gutted I missed this fight, sounds like he has a bright future.

 

He looked excellent last night. If the ref hadn't jumped the gun and stopped it early I'm pretty sure Groves would have KOed him. Definately a fan and will be following him closely from now on.

Paul needs to retire very soon... what a shame..

 

Wow, his timing is what impresses me most. Going forwards or back - thats a rare ability to be able to time shots like that off the backfoot.

Very impressed. Would prefer if he kept his hands up, he should get into good habits.

 

Agreed. Paul is a really nice guy and also a very intelligent man, I think he must realize now it's time to hang 'em up. Don't want to see him become just a stepping stone for prospects looking for a half decent name on their record.


Groves looks great by the way. Seen a couple of his pro fights now and have been impressed.

 

Samuels used to work on the door in Vision 2K in Cardiff about 8 years ago and the guy was a complete arsehole. other than that an excellent performance from groves!

 

Looks massively improved from his first fight. Just a shame to see the fight end a bit early really, hope to see him in action again soon.
