George Groves to fight Paul Smith

    Looks like vvarren wants Smith off his books and by putting him in with Groves will let that happen.

    What a **** fight....

    Oh well as long as i don't see this being used to boost Groves resume at domestic level then it's cool. If it was to easy for DeGale it should be same for Groves.

    Groves should stop him in the second half of the fight. Preferred him to fight Kenny Anderson in a rematch.

    Can see it now. DeFale beats the pole he will defend on this bill and then come into the ring after Groves bashes up Smith, challenge him to a rematch and it will happen early next year.

    Decent fight. Groves still needs plenty of fights and experience and Smith will probably offer him quite a few problems. Kenny Anderson needs to be fought again before Groves moves onto Euro level.

    I dunno Gaz, Just not the fight i would of liked. Maybe i'm bit disappointed it's not Anderson. Just don't see how Smith wins this one other then via front guillotine.

    sad but true.

    i really have no interest in seeing Degale and Groves both been subjected to constantly talking about each other

    move on, and fight again in a few years.

    as for the Smith fight.

    Was always gonna happen that way. DeFale gave an interview saying he was gonna be back out in Decemeber and then all of a sudden Groves has a fight announced for December.

    Would be a good fight IMO I like Smithy a tough fighter who doesn't stop stalking his enemy and Groves is really coming along, be a good platform for him to make a statement before moving up a level!

    What about Degale should he be fighting for the european belt......... Groves has more right to fight european level... groves is the british and commonwealth champion which means he's the best at domestic level... :patsch
    Who is there to test him now He will beat Anderson easily second time round, with out a doubt.......
