Its prob on another thread but cannot be arsed to scroll through them...i would of put money on George going with Eddie - matchroom. how come he has ended up with F.W.arren. Must have been some sort of beef between the two parties.

^Matchroom wanted worldwide rights to Groves but Booth wanted GoldenBoy to have a slice still so Hearn turned it down.

To me this is a sign that he is going to be kept second fiddle to Defail.Groves has not been able to capitalize on his win against Defail, he should be fighting in London in October not Liverpool in December, they will probably get him an 8 rounder on the same night as Defail gets gifted a European title.Groves should not be fighting Defail until at least 2013.Him signing for frwank could be a huge mistake.

**** fight. Why does James Degale get a euro title shot yet Groves gets one of Degales victims?

If smith gets beat then he'll obviously drop back down to middle where he has already said that's the weight he should be fighting...

So if he wins (which I don't think he will) what does he do then? Fight on at super middle?

I don't understand the logic in it

A year ago I would have disagreed but one fight can be deceiving. I thought against Kenny Anderson that he couldnt handle a pressure fight but the way he handled DeGale was classic.

I think Groves but i'll still be cheering Smigga :good

Hope it doesn't happen, would be a big step back for Groves. Which would make sense considering who he's now promoted by.

How is Groves chinny? He has had one knockdown and got straight up from it.

He's not got the most solid chin tbf to Smith's comments. He looked very shaken when dropped by Anderson. Stunned a bit by the Journeyman he fought in the States. No shame in it, his dodgy chin's taken him this far. Wouldn't say it's on Khan levels but it's not great.

^Does that mean Bellew is chinny? No1 seems to mention the fact he has been down 3times.

Think difference is Bellew was off balance against Ajisafe, McKenzie's first knockdown was a clump to top of head and Tony in bed position really and second he just didn't see it. Each time he's jumped up ready to fight and not looked as leggy and out of sync like Groves did against Anderson.
